The contest
In order to promote and give visibility to engineering research, the comity of Cycles Supérieurs en Génie (CSG), the AGEG and the Faculty of Engineering are challenging you to popularize your research project in a 2 minutes video!
The participants
Are you doing research in graduate studies or postdocs? Do you have a cellphone and access to a computer? If so this contest is for you! 2 Minutes of Engineering is the ideal opportunity to put into practice your ability to popularize and highlight your research efforts. This is the occasion to show your family and friends what you are doing in a format that is easy to share and pleasant to watch!
The approach
The use of short videos has become extremely popular thanks to social media like TikTok, Facebook and Instagram. For this reason we suggest you make a video in vertical format either with the TikTok app or with other free softwares like Shotcut or DaVinci Resolve 17.

Simplify your research work for your relatives, friends and the general public! We encourage you to be creative in your presentation!
Specifications
Use the MP4 video format, with a 9:16 aspect ratio.
Duration
The video must be 2 minutes long (± 10 seconds).
Used language
Choose between English or French!
